 Graduate School of Social Service Administration is the first national graduate school in Japan with the aim of training the welfare professionals in this new century. Graduate School of Social Service Administration was founded in 2002 and offers a Master's program to meet the rapidly changing and growing needs of today's society.
 The objective of Graduate School of Social Service Administration is to be able to plan and promote welfare policies and social work. The curriculum of Graduate School of Social Service Administration is interdisciplinary. Employing a social welfare perspective to integrate traditional disciplines such as political science, psychology, economics, business administration, laws, sociology...etc.
 The system of teaching and research in Graduate School of Social Service Administration is composed of the following three fields:
 ・Core field:
  Basic Seminar, Research Seminar, Workshop...etc.
 ・Social policy and administration program:Social welfare policy and planning,
Administrative law, Social security...etc.
 ・Human society and welfare program:Social welfare research, Child welfare and
 family services, Community-based social work...etc.
 Especially, case-study, field work and discussion have essential significance in Graduate School of Social Service Administration.
 And,the following systems for working students exist:
 ・Special admission for working people.
 ・Evening lectures.
